Gold Choice Ballroom Event Venue & Party Rentals - Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement and Definitions:

• Agreement: This document constitutes the entire agreement between Gold Choice Ballroom Event Venue & Party Rentals ("Gold Choice," "we," "us," or "our") and the client ("Client," "you," or "your") for the rental of venue space and/or party rental items.
• Event: Refers to the occasion for which the venue and/or rental items are being contracted.
• Rental Period: Refers to the agreed-upon time frame for venue usage and/or rental item possession.
• Security Deposit: A refundable deposit held to cover potential damages, excessive cleaning, or late return of rental items.

2. Booking and Payment:

• A non-refundable deposit, as specified in the booking agreement, is required to secure your reservation.
• Late payments may result in the cancellation of your reservation.
• Any changes to the booking may incur additional fees
• Gold choice reserves the right to cancel any event due to unforseen circumstances. In this situation, a full refund will be provided to the client.

3. Venue Usage and Conduct:

• The Client is responsible for the conduct of their guests.
• Gold Choice reserves the right to end the Event if the conduct of the Client or their guests is deemed disruptive or unsafe.
• No illegal activities are permitted on the premises.
• The Client is responsible for any damage caused to the venue or rental items by their guests.
• Decorations must be approved by Gold Choice in advance.
• No nails, screws, or staples are to be used on the walls or ceilings. Only approved adhesive may be used.
• The Client is responsible for removing all personal belongings and decorations at the end of the Rental Period.
• Gold Choice is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
• Client must adhere to the agreed upon end time of the event. Overtime is subject to additional fees.

4. Party Rental Items:

• The Client is responsible for the safe handling and return of all rental items.
• Any damaged or missing rental items will be charged to the Client at replacement cost.
• Rental items must be returned in the same condition as they were received, excluding normal wear and tear.
• The Client is responsible for ensuring that rental items are used according to their intended purpose.
• Any set up or break down of rental items provided by gold choice, must be performed by gold choice staff
• Gold Choice reserves the right to withhold all or part of the Security Deposit to cover any damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning.
• If the cost of damages exceeds the security deposit, the client is responsible for paying the remaining balance

• 5. Liability:
  • Gold Choice is not liable for any personal injury or property damage that occurs during the Event, unless caused by our gross negligence.
  • The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Gold Choice harmless from any claims or liabilities arising from their Event.
  • The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or licenses for their Event.

  6. Force Majeure:

  • Gold Choice shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, or government regulations.   

  7. Governing Law:   

• This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State Florida

• Amendments:

• This agreement may only be amended in writing and signed by both parties.

• Entire Agreement:

• This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.

By signing the booking agreement, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
